Acceptable as a lubricant, antirust film or release agent where there is no possibility of food contact.

P-1

Acceptable as a lubricant in a closed gear system. Must be used in a manner which prevents direct or indirect contamination of edible products.

A-1

Acceptable compounds for use as general cleaning agents on all surfaces, or for use with steam or mechanical cleaning devices.

Release agents. These substances may be used on grills, load pans, cutters, boning benches, chopping blocks or other hard surfaces to help prevent food from adhering during processing.
