Vapor Pressure Of Mineral Oil

The vapor pressure of lubricating oil is very low and is not a limiting factor in typical lubrication practice.  The data below is for three common grades of lube oil and are estimates only.   The information is often useful for oils in heat transfer systems.  Vapor pressure increases as oil temperature increases.

Oil grade (viscosity @ 40°C)
